Regular physical activity has proven to have a healing effect on the body and brain, allowing to improve its cognitive and complex functioning processes. With the help of even moderate physical activity, the process of rational brain work makes a significant improvement, especially when we start learning something new. It makes a direct impact on the increased ability to perceive various information, process and analysis, as well as improvement of memory and communication skills. Most importantly, regular exercise supports the processes of brain rejuvenation, that is, literally makes the brain stay young, so that it is easier to assimilate new information.
Scientists have discovered the structure of the brain that only humans have, it is responsible for fine motor skills and for a person's addiction to nicotine. As the portal Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News specifies, the results of the study are applicable to representatives of any age group. At the same time, with age, the positive effect of physical exercise on the body only increases. The authors of the study offered 132 volunteers aged 20 to 67 to do various sports four times a week for six months. Positive changes were found in all participants of the experiment, without exception, who strictly followed the exercise plan.
After the end of the experiment, the specialists assessed the effect of exercises on memory: the ability to concentrate, set goals, navigate the terrain, organize activities and control behavior. Interestingly, aerobic exercise was recognized as the most effective. "We found that all participants who did the exercises not only improved their executive functions, but also increased the thickness of the outer layer of the brain," explained the leading specialist and author of the work, Yakov Stern.
We can conclude that regular dance related exercises can most effectively rejuvenate your brain, help to reverse aging process, as well as have irreplaceable benefits to your heath and wellbeing.
